Painting is just one more pastime Dick developed among his other creative adventures. He only named one, “Lazarus Come Forth”, but he had the eye and loved making a paint mess.

Dick loved using a camera to capture natural scenes that were beautiful, authentic, or ironic – like a gaggle of Santas piling into a New York City van, or Frosty among the manger in the neighbor’s yard.
